Loneliness

Loneliness

Loneliness can often be used to describe boredom.

Loneliness is an empty endless dark

Where light sometimes encroaches

Only to once more back away.

Loneliness goes through crowded places

Hidden in briefcases, shopping bags, coats

And headscarves.

Then once more home

Spreads into every corner

And darkness falls again.
