How can we get Opus out there? (and promote NUSA!)Ok people, this is the place to help us promote Opus, and especially NUSA. With VSU coming in in second semester, we need to make the Student population aware of NUSA as much as possible, and Opus is a good vehicle for that. But to do that, we also need to promote Opus. So what we need are suggestions for a)Getting Opus out there b)Promoting NUSA in Opus c)Getting people to pay their fees Submitted by opuseditor on Thu, 2006-02-16 22:53.

Hey Bees, what do lefties and slinkies have in common?
Neither has any real point to their existence, but they both bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
On a serious note, I feel your pain. Our student magazine is not the Green Left weekly. But I have to agree with Ned on this one. It's all very well to say 'change the content', but if the only content which is submitted a plethora of whinges about Land Rights for Gay Whales, then there is nothing to change it to.
If Opus used to be great, what's stopping us from making it great again? Writing for Opus is awesome; not only do you get the egotistical thrill of seeing your name in print, you get a fantastic platform from which to wind up lefties. If you want less drivel to sift through in your Opus, then start filling it articles that interest at least you - who knows, they might even interest someone else.
